This Privacy Policy explains what personal data is collected, used, and protected through the Templates.uz platform (the "Platform"). Templates.uz is a platform that lets you purchase and download ready-made website templates, as well as place an order for a custom website built around a fixed package. By using the Platform, you agree to the terms of this policy.

2. What information do we collect?

When you register on the Platform, purchase a template, or submit an order, we may collect the following information:

• Account information: name, email address, password (stored in encrypted form), profile picture, and the identifier received when signing in through Google or GitHub.
• Order information: the name, phone number, email address, and message text you provide when purchasing a template or submitting a custom package order.
• Payment information: payment amount, transaction number, and payment status. Your bank card details are never stored on our servers — they are processed by a licensed payment provider.
• Technical information: IP address, browser type, and session cookies.
• Optional information: if you connect our Telegram bot — your Telegram ID and username; as well as any reviews, ratings, and wishlist items you save.

3. How do we use this information?

The information collected is used solely for the following purposes:

• To create your account, sign you in, and keep it secure.
• To grant download access to purchased templates and maintain your purchase history.
• To process custom package orders and contact you about them.
• To confirm payments and notify you about order status, including via Telegram.
• To improve the Platform, identify bugs, and prevent fraud.

4. Payments and third-party services

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. To operate the service, we rely only on trusted third-party providers: a licensed payment provider to process payments (via systems such as Payme, Click, and Uzcard), a cloud server provider to host files, and, if connected, the Telegram Bot API for notifications. These services only receive the data necessary to perform their function. Where required by law, information may be disclosed to competent government authorities.

5. Cookies

Our site uses only essential cookies: to maintain your login session, to support the "Remember me" feature, and to remember your language and interface preferences. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect some site functions, such as signing in.

6. Data security and retention

We apply encryption and other modern security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or loss. Passwords are always stored in encrypted (hashed) form. Personal data is retained for as long as your account is active, or for the period required by law (for example, for accounting records).

You can view and edit your personal information through your profile at any time. You may also request deletion of your account and associated data by sending a request to itemplates.uz@gmail.com. Payment records required for accounting and tax purposes may be retained separately as required by law.
